About Inlight IT

We bring engineering expertise and commercial judgement to the technology Australian businesses depend on, managing IT, delivering projects and building AI and automation around how each business works.

AI in how we deliver

Our service desk runs inside Microsoft Teams with AI-assisted triage, and we use agents and automation in our own operations.

Current platforms

Copilot, Microsoft Foundry, SD-WAN, SASE, Azure Local and Essential Eight controls, run as a working service.

Engage how you need

Fully managed, co-managed or a single project, with each service available on its own.

Australia-wide

Support in Teams, from our engineers and on site, for clients across Australia.

What we do

From day-to-day IT to AI in production

We run Microsoft 365, identity, devices, security, cloud, networks and backup as a managed service, and we deliver the projects that change how a business operates: national SD-WAN rollouts, VMware exits to Azure Local, Nutanix or Proxmox, Essential Eight uplift, Copilot deployment and AI agents connected to business systems. Our experience operating IT environments shapes how we design them, with identity, access, security and ongoing management considered from the outset.

Our story

Built for how businesses run their technology now

Our clients include property developers and builders, manufacturers, engineering firms, professional services practices and healthcare providers, many running operations across multiple sites. They come to us for a managed service they can rely on, and for the engineering behind their bigger moves: secure access across the estate, platform migrations, security programmes and AI agents working in production.

We work on the platforms the market is moving to, from Microsoft Foundry and Copilot Studio to SASE, zero-trust access and immutable backups. We use AI and automation in our own service as well as building them for clients. Many of our clients have been with us since we established the business.

How we work

The principles we work by

01

Design before delivery

We investigate the existing environment, map dependencies and agree the design before implementation, with testing, migration, recovery and ongoing support planned up front.

02

Take responsibility

We define who owns the work, how issues escalate and where suppliers are involved, and we coordinate across technical teams, carriers and vendors to take problems through to resolution.

03

Security in the design

Identity, devices, Microsoft 365, networks, cloud and recovery are secured together, and those controls are maintained as part of how we run the systems we manage.

04

Look past the ticket

We trace recurring incidents back to the configuration, capacity, architecture or process behind them, and feed what we find into planned improvements.

05

Clear ownership and handover

Before delivery, we agree where the solution will run, the access your team will have and who owns the custom work. Documentation, ongoing support and handover are included in the agreed scope, with platform subscriptions and licensing made clear.

06

Keep clients informed

We make priorities, risks, responsibilities and progress visible, with advice clear enough for clients to question a recommendation and decide with confidence.

The ecosystem

The technology we work with

We work across the platforms leading the market, from Microsoft Foundry and Copilot Studio to Fortinet SD-WAN, SASE, Azure Local and Nutanix. We choose them around each client’s applications, security requirements and budget, and how they fit with what is already in place.
