Common starting points

Where AI can remove operational friction

The best first project is work that is repetitive, visible and contained enough to improve quickly.

Show cases for
01Information is hard to find across systemsAI agent deployment or Copilot

Knowledge is spread across SharePoint, Teams, email, documents, CRM, ERP and operational systems. People spend too much time searching, asking the same questions, recreating documents or relying on the person who happens to know where something lives.

Best fit: AI agent deployment or Copilot →
02Manual workflows are slowing approvals and reportingBusiness applications and automation

Approvals, exceptions, handovers, job updates, reporting packs and operational checks often run on spreadsheets, email trails and manual follow-up. We turn them into structured, visible and repeatable workflows.

Best fit: Business applications and automation →
03AI is already being used without enough controlAI agent deployment or Copilot

Staff are already using AI tools, and the data handling, approval boundaries and support need an owner. We bring that use into Microsoft 365 Copilot or an approved agent, with the controls set before it spreads further.

04The business wants to get useful work from Microsoft 365 CopilotCopilot in 30

Start with a defined group of users and the work they want to improve. Check what information Copilot can access, put the right controls around the pilot and review the results before deciding what to expand.

05The business wants AI or automation, but the use case is unclearAI agent deployment

We start with the part of the business you want to examine, look at where work waits, loops or gets re-keyed, and rank the opportunities by value and effort before anything is built.

06Operational workflows touch site or OT environmentsBusiness applications and automation

On industrial sites, we design automation around site processes, access and security boundaries, and keep business IT and OT clearly separate.

Each agent we deploy starts with a charter like this one

Before an agent becomes part of day-to-day work, we agree who owns it, what it can reach, where a person approves and how it is tested and monitored. This example is for a tender review agent that prepares a first review before each bid meeting.

AI and automation need clear boundaries

The technology may work across business information, user accounts and operational systems. We define what it can access, what it can do and who is responsible for it.

Information and access

We review the information involved, how it is organised and who can access it before AI or automation is introduced more broadly.

Human approval

AI can prepare, classify, retrieve or recommend. We define where a person reviews or approves the next action, particularly where money, risk or reputation is involved.

Approved tools and shadow AI

Most organisations already have some shadow AI. We identify where staff are using it, what information is going into those tools and where teams have a real business need, then give staff an approved way to use it.

Operational and industrial environments

For work near operational technology, we keep business IT and OT boundaries clear. Access, data flow, change control, logging and support ownership are agreed before anything connects to a live environment.

How we work

We start with one workflow, prove it with real users and build from there

We look at how the work happens today and apply AI or automation where it can save time, improve consistency or remove unnecessary manual steps.

01

Understand the work

Review the workflow, users, systems, data sources, documents, permissions, approvals, reporting needs and current pain points.

02

Identify the pathway

Clarify whether the starting point is Copilot adoption, an AI application, Power Platform automation, reporting improvement, custom tooling or a smaller review.

03

Define the first useful version

Avoid turning the first project into a transformation. Define a version narrow enough to deliver, useful enough to matter and structured enough to teach the organisation how to govern the next one.

04

Design the control model

Clear boundaries for data, permissions, approved tools, human approval and audit.

05

Build, test and improve

Build the workflow or AI use case, test it with real users, review the operating impact, document the solution and improve it after rollout.

Our approach

Why clients build AI with us

AI and automation depend on Microsoft 365, identity, permissions, data access, business systems, workflow ownership, security controls and ease of support. We connect the work to the environment it has to run inside.

01

Across the Microsoft AI stack

Copilot, Copilot Studio, Microsoft Foundry and Power Platform, plus the Microsoft 365, Entra ID and permissions they depend on.

02

We already run the environment

We manage Microsoft 365, Entra ID, security and infrastructure for our clients, so identity, permissions and support are in place before an agent or workflow goes live.

03

Business systems and integrations

We connect applications, workflows and agents to documents, APIs, CRM, ERP, finance platforms and operational systems.

04

Model choice without lock-in

Microsoft Foundry leads in production, with Claude and OpenAI models chosen for the work. What we build sits in your tenant and stays yours.

05

Delivery that lasts

A workflow or AI use case needs documentation, ownership, change control and support after go-live, and we carry all of it.

06

Honest advice on where AI pays off

We show you where Copilot pays off, where a better process wins and when the timing is right.

Common questions

AI and automation questions

Should we use Copilot, automation or an AI agent?

It depends on the work. Microsoft 365 Copilot suits everyday work in Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel and other Microsoft 365 applications. Automation suits work that follows repeatable rules and steps. An AI agent becomes relevant when the work also involves interpreting information, using several systems or carrying a task through multiple stages.

Some projects use more than one of these technologies.

What information can Microsoft 365 Copilot access?

Microsoft 365 Copilot works within existing permissions. It can use information a person is already permitted to access across Microsoft 365.

This makes SharePoint permissions, Teams membership, OneDrive sharing and external access important parts of a Copilot implementation.

When should we use Copilot Studio or Microsoft Foundry?

Copilot Studio suits agents that sit closely within Microsoft 365 and use its managed workflows and connections.

Microsoft Foundry suits agents that need a particular model, substantial multi-step logic, connections to several systems, detailed evaluation or their own identity and network controls. A Foundry agent can also be made available through Teams or Microsoft 365 Copilot.

Can AI run within our own environment?

Yes, depending on the workload. Microsoft Foundry supports private networking, and supported models can also run locally in some environments. Foundry Local remains in preview, so its suitability needs to be assessed for each project.

What is Power Platform used for?

Power Platform is used to build internal applications, workflow automation and reporting within the Microsoft environment.

Power Apps provides the user interface, Power Automate manages workflows and integrations, and Dataverse can provide the structured data layer. These solutions still need managed environments, permissions, data policies, testing and ongoing support.

Who supports the solution once it is running?

We do. We document the solution, agree its owner and look after changes, platform updates and support once it is live. Support is raised and tracked in Microsoft Teams.
