What this means in practice

The hardware is supported until 15 July 2027. Contracts can no longer be extended, so plan the replacement, configuration migration and cutover before then.

Migration detail:
using SSL VPN?

On current FortiOS releases, SSL VPN tunnel mode has been replaced by IPsec VPN, and entry-level models including the 50G, 70G and 90G also have restrictions on agentless web-mode VPN. Fortinet recommends IPsec dial-up VPN for remote access.

We check the existing VPN configuration before the replacement is specified.
